With “Venceremos”, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY return with their most ambitious and conceptually driven album yet, forging Heavy Rock, Progressive Metal, and Hellenic Folk spirit into a tale of resistance and awakening. METAL KAOZ connected with Alex Karametis to discuss the album’s dystopian vision, the meaning of Eternal Hell, and why Orwell’s “1984” feels closer than ever. From space pirates and self-judgment to taking total control of the record, Alex reflects on freedom, rebellion, and creative conviction.
Hellenic Heavy rockers VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY will release their upcoming album, "Venceremos", on September 18 via Napalm Records. Watch the entire chat with Alex Karametis below.
