Who said that the UK is out of excellent bands? London’s finest skull crushing quartet is here to prove every hater wrong and deliver another beautifully sick album full of quality blasting extreme music! Do not get fooled by the cover artwork. This is not another satanic Black / Death Metal band...

So, I guess every single fan of the extreme side of Metal already knows THE ROTTED and their short history. For those of you who don’t know shit, THE ROTTED were formed in 2008, after the demise of GOREROTTED and is almost the same band with one or two line up changes. What’s not the same though is the band’s sound, which has turned to a chaotic bulldozer!

If you’ve had the chance to listen to the band’s debut “Get Dead Or Die Trying” (2008) then you know what to expect. The British butchers return with another old school D-Beat Death Metal album full of their classic Rock & Roll attitude and many songs that are sure to cause moshpits in venues, roads, living rooms etc. The down tuned bass lines of Reverend Trudgill form a deadly force along with Gould’s relentless drumming, with Carley rocking the shit out of his guitar and McCrow spitting his venom with anger like only he knows. Except for the great songwriting, we also have a kick-ass production that adds the necessary heaviness and “dirt” this band needs to unleash its full power.

Such releases don’t need many words. THE ROTTED have done it once again, it’s that simple. The only thing you have to do is trust them your time / money / whatever and I strongly believe you won’t be disappointed. I wish they will pay a visit to Greece sometime since these guys must be killer on stage. If you get to see them, make some noses bleed for me, too!
